Message from the Executive Director
Dear GLOBE community,
We hope everyone is enjoying their summer break. GLOBE's new Lower Campus continues to take shape. This week, phase one of our move is firmly underway. This includes kindergarten through 2nd grade, technology, music, administration and cafeteria equipment.
GLOBE's leadership team recently took a tour of the new campus buildings and we wanted to share this with you via a short four minute video. Click on the image below to take a look, or click here.
Please keep a look out for further communications in the coming weeks as the move to the new Lower Campus continues. We will also be sending out updated morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up instructions for both campuses, in addition to other useful information to help you prepare for the start of the new school year in August.
A reminder that we're implementing new school hours effective from August 6, 2025, as follows. Lower Campus: 8:00am to 2:45pm. Upper Campus: 8:30am to 3:40pm.
Summer Basketball Camp
Dates for our summer basketball camp have now been confirmed. This camp will take place at GLOBE's Upper Campus gym from 7–11 July (details below).

7–11 July | 9am to 12pm
Join our Basketball Summer Camp this July. Focussing on key skills, footwork, ball handling, position work, agility and conditioning, shooting fundamentals. Summer Language Camp 2025 continues
The second week of Summer Language Camp is underway and students are having a great time. We have French this week, and next week camp will conclude with Spanish. We have included some photos below that were taken over the past couple of weeks.

Board of Directors Meeting
The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on Monday, June 23, at 7pm. To register to attend the meeting via Zoom, click here.

The Board of Directors is currently looking for a board member for our At-Large role. To view the role description, click here. If you are interested and would like to have an impact in an educational setting, we urge you to apply. We will be accepting applications from now until June 29, 2025.

Summer Assignments
A list of summer assignments to help your student(s) prepare for the first semester can be found on GLOBE's website, here. Please note, the assignments are completely optional. Any middle school students that were given assignments by their homeroom teacher prior to summer break, have two weeks from the start of the new school year to complete them.
