BES Parent Weekly Email

From the Principal
Parents,
It's been a great start to our school year! Here are a few reminders...
Morning Car Drop Off - Beginning on Monday, the Panda Patrol will begin helping students get out of their car. To help speed up our car rider drop off, please allow your child to get out as soon as your car is in front of the school by the sidewalk. This will especially help those who have other schools to go to or need to get to work.
Breakfast - If your child is a car rider and would like to eat breakfast at school, please be sure to get them to school as early as possible to give them plenty of time to eat. The hot breakfast line ends at 7:35am. I would suggest getting your child to school before 7:30am to ensure they are getting a hot breakfast, and are not rushed.
Parent Conferences - Be on the look out for child's teacher setting up beginning of the year parent conferences. We would really love to meet with every one of our parents to over their iReady diagnostic and SC Ready scores. Your involvement in your child's education is very important to us!
School Fees - If you have not paid your $20 school fee for your child yet, please take care of that before September 3. Your child will not be allowed to attend their field trip this year without all fees being paid.
If myself or Mrs. Lance can ever be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Have a fantastic weekend!
Mr. Fowler

Transportation Change
You must call the office if you need to change the transportation for how your child normally gets home. Messaging the teacher on Class Dojo will not work because teachers will most likely not see your message until students are already gone.
Parent Volunteers Needed
We have dates throughout the year that we could use parent volunteers for. We need help with events such as Snow Cone Days, Boosterthon, Santa's Workshop, Field Day, etc. If you are interested in helping, you can contact our office for more information.
