*Craig O'Neill will be here on Tuesday morning to read to our second graders as part of his THV11 Reading Road Trip.

*We are focusing on and celebrating respect this month and will have a culminating assembly over respect on Thursday morning.

*We will celebrate January birthdays in our classrooms on Friday.

The 100th Day of School is next Monday, February 3. WOW! Time sure flies when you are having fun!

Calling all dads, grandpas, uncles, and awesome dudes! Join us for Donuts with Dudes at Magness Creek on Friday, February 7th at 7:30 AM. Start your morning with a sweet treat and a special time with your favorite kiddo. We can’t wait to see you there!

The Cabot School District and Cabot Country Cruisers have partnered together once again to host their annual “Spring Fling 5K & Spring Fling Kids Fun Run.”

Proceeds go toward college scholarships for two Cabot High School seniors and the Cabot School District's Physical Education "PE For Life" Program. The proceeds are also used to sponsor the free summer event "Cabot Family Track Nights" for all Cabot kids and their families.

Early packet pickup will be held on Friday, March 21st from 5-7 PM at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. Please note this is a change from previous years.

Spring Fling 5K – Saturday, March 22nd – 8:00 a.m.
Registration is $30. Participants must be registered by February 21st to guarantee their race shirt which is a hooded long sleeve District brand shirt.

Awards go 3 deep in the overall and age group categories.

New for 2025 - we will have a wooden finisher's medal for all participants.

Kids Fun Run – Saturday, March 22nd – 9:00 a.m.
Registration is $15. Kids must be signed up by February 21st to guarantee their medal and t-shirt!

In order to volunteer at Magness Creek, you will need to complete a background check every year and have Hallway Hero training once in your lifetime. Please call the office at (501)743-3565 or email your Hallway Hero interest to amy.morrow@cps.k12.ar.us or michelle.atherton@cps.k12.ar.us. We want the Hallway Hero piece to be easy and convenient for our families.
