🌟 National School Counseling Week 🌟

Every year, we take a moment to recognize the tireless efforts of school counselors and the incredible impact they have on our students.

School counselors are a cornerstone of support, offering guidance in academics, career planning, and social-emotional development. They are also dedicated to fostering a positive and safe environment for all students.

This week, Argyle Middle School proudly celebrates our amazing counselors, Tara Furr and Jessica Wade, and thanks them for their continued dedication to helping Argyle ISD shape the leaders of tomorrow. 👏✨

Next week, AMS students will take benchmark assessments in Math on Monday and ELAR on Friday. These benchmarks provide valuable insight into student learning and help teachers identify areas where additional support may be needed. If your student is in 8th Grade Math or Algebra, please have them bring their TI-84 calculator if they own one. Please ensure your student brings a fully charged Chromebook each day. If your student prefers to use their own earbuds/headphones if they have oral administration, they may use those.

The AMS Theatre Department is presenting its annual "One Night- One Act" on Wednesday, February 5th at 7pm. This is the only public performance of the UIL One Act Play before they compete on February 8th, so please come out and support these kids and their hard work before they head to contest.

The show is Suite Surrender by Michael McKeever- It's 1942, and two of Hollywood's biggest divas have descended upon the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel - assistants, luggage, and legendary feud with one another in tow. Everything seems to be in order for their wartime performance...that is, until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the 30s and 40s.
