Kewaskum High School Mission and Vision
The vision of Kewaskum High School is to become the model high school for job-force driven programming and universal graduate success.
Message from the Principal
We hope all of you are well as we bring trimester 2 to a close and welcome our final chapter on Monday.
Juniors will take the ACT on Wednesday, March 13. This assessment is critical to the future plans of our students - and is a primary indicator on our school report card. In other words - the ACT is very important to all of us! Juniors are to report to the KHS cafeteria by 7:20 am on the morning of the 13th. We will provide breakfast to all students between 7:30 and 8:00, and students will then report to their classrooms for testing. The assessment should wrap up by 12:35 - and students will be dismissed at that time. Juniors have been preparing via our ACT prep sessions during Morning 30... now it's time for any final prep and a good night of sleep prior to the test. Chromebooks need to be fully charged and ready to go:)
Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 will not report to school on March 13. Instead, they will be completing assigned work for each of their classes asynchronously. Attendance will be confirmed for students by evidence of completed work. Therefore, it is critical that students complete and submit assigned work by 9:00 pm on the 13th. Additional details regarding the ACT and the asynchronous day of learning can be found at this link.
We are excited to offer our students opportunities such as our CTE Career Speaker Day on 3/19. Experiences such as this - and are our College and Career Day on May 2 - are tailored to specific grade levels, and provide immeasurable value to our students as they continue to develop their post secondary plans.
Please follow our announcements, webpage, and district Facebook page for all of our happenings and celebrations. We have had numerous state qualifiers and county-wide honors to share in recent weeks. Great things are happening at KHS!
Be well,
Scott Stier - KHS Principal
