Message from the Superintendent
Dear GPS Families,
This is an exciting time for our 6th and 8th graders! Our Level Up days and Next Level events have been a great success, supporting our students to feel comfortable and prepared as they get ready to move on to new campuses and educational experiences next school year! Don’t forget, you are invited to attend our Junior High and High School Family Preview Nights or schedule a tour to learn more.
February is also Career and Technical Education (CTE) month! We are delighted to offer our high school students a wide range of CTE classes and I encourage you to take a look at our website to learn about the many opportunities students can take advantage of as they prepare for their future at GilbertSchools.net/CTE. Thank you to all of our CTE teachers who make this possible!
I wanted to take a moment to invite you to join us at two upcoming events taking place at Campo Verde High on February 22nd. Our 8th annual GPS Run for Fun and our inaugural GPS Healthy Connections Expo. Please read on for full details!
Thank you for your continued support of your student(s), our schools, and our district. We are better together and we are grateful that you are a part of our GPS Family!
Sincerely,
Shane McCord, Ed. D.
Superintendent
