May 2025
NH SAS and NWEA Testing
May is testing month in the Mascoma School District. Grades 1-4 will be taking the NWEA's (Northwest Evaluation Association) in Math and ELA the week of May 12th. Just grades 3 & 4 will be taking the NH SAS (New Hampshire Statewide Assessment System) in Math, ELA, and Writing the week of May 5th. Magic Show!
On Friday April 11th, the students got see an amazing magic show! Tommy Jones performed a show called the The Magic Wonder! The CES students had a blast!

Jump Rope for Heart!
CES is wrapping up the Kids Heart Challenge. We set a goal to raise $6,000 for the American Heart Association, and we crushed that goal. We are just below $9,000 with more money still coming in. Students spent the last three weeks learning about their hearts and how to keep them healthy, learning how to jump rope, and learning about helping others. On Thursday April 28th we had over 100 students stay after school to celebrate their hard work with a huge Jump Party! Way to go CES you are heart heroes!

Spring Family Fun Event
Grab the Family and Join Us on Friday, May 16th from 6:00-7:00 pm
behind CES (pavement and field) for a night of laughs!!!
Hosted by the CES PTA
Don’t miss this evening of games, fun and all around silliness. Each family will receive their own container with everything they need to complete the activities!
If the weather is poor we will host the event in the CES gym OR you can come and pick up your box of games to take home and enjoy at your own pace.
