Dear District 41 Community,
On behalf of Glen Ellyn School District 41, thank you to the community for your support through this referendum process. As you may have heard, the DuPage County Election Commission is reporting that we did not pass our referendum to build a new K-5 school and early learning center for preschool. The Board of Education will continue to explore opportunities for the future; however, it will not be the solution that was presented on the ballot.
Although the outcome was not what we had hoped, I am confident that we will continue to provide an excellent education for our students. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer full-day kindergarten for all of our families, but we will continue to find creative ways to provide the early learning foundation needed for student success.
