Essential Family Information 2024-2025
School Year Calendar
Take a look at our updated school calendar. This year, we are discontinuing our early release Wednesdays and instead will have a few Fridays off throughout the school year.
The English version is on page one, and the Spanish version is on page two.
Attendance Information
- Please allow the main office 24 hours to reconcile attendance for the day
- Make sure to send a note with your student for an absence so that we may excuse it
- Students get 10 parent-excused dates per year as long as they are called in, or a note is written
- Doctor notes for appointments and sickness do not count towards these 10 days
Outside Food at Lunch Time 🍎
Students are expected to bring food from home with them when they arrive to school in the morning or take part in our school lunch program. Delivery of food prepared at restaurants, diners, or similar establishments during the school day disrupts the efficiency of the school office and presents safety and health concerns; therefore, such deliveries are prohibited and will not be accepted.
If a student forgets to bring their lunch, a home-prepared lunch delivery will be accepted or provisions will be made for the student to eat a school-prepared lunch. Such deliveries will only be accepted by a person listed as part of a family or identified as an emergency contact on Skyward.
If you or your student wishes them to have a restaurant prepared meal, a guardian/parent listed on Skyward is more than welcome to come and sign them out for the lunch period to eat and sign them back in when the lunch period is over. This will be an excused absence and will not count towards a students 10 parent-excused days as long as they do not miss any instructional time.
