Principal's Message
Clairmont Bulldog Community,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move toward the end of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to share a few important updates and reminders to ensure our students finish strong and continue to grow in a positive direction.
It is crucial for students to arrive on time each day to ensure they are fully engaged in their learning. Missing school or being late can cause students to fall behind and miss important instruction. Please help us reinforce the importance of punctuality by ensuring your child arrives on time, ready to start their day.
We’ve noticed some behaviors recently that need to be addressed, and we kindly ask that you have a conversation with your child about the importance of following school expectations. We expect our students to be safe, respectful, responsible and to show kindness toward others, and we are committed to working together with you to maintain a positive learning environment for everyone.
We are excited to announce that students who consistently follow our BARK expectations (Be Respectful, Act Responsibly, Remember Safety, and Kindness Matters) will have the opportunity to participate in some exciting end-of-year activities. These special events will be a reward for their hard work and positive behavior throughout the year. Let’s work together to make sure your child is ready to participate and enjoy these fun celebrations!
We are thrilled to introduce arts and sports programs during the school day! These new opportunities will allow students to explore their creative talents and develop new physical skills. Participation in these activities will enhance our students' overall development. We are working with Elevo and their coaches to provide these wonderful opportunities to our students.
Lastly, we would like to remind students of the importance of focusing and participating in class on a daily basis. Each lesson provides vital knowledge and skills that prepare our students for success in the future. Your support in helping your child stay focused and engaged will make a significant difference in their academic progress.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting your child's education. We are excited for the remaining months of this school year and look forward to seeing all the wonderful accomplishments our students will achieve. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Best Regards,
Principal Shorter
