Update: In our March 2025 issue, we highlighted the first version of a Facilitator Guide for Building the Reading Brain film. This is being slightly revised to offer a Participant Guide and to enable it to be featured on various platforms to enable wide access. You can still view the original version, just know that it will look slightly different in the coming month.

Our work depends on funding from the State of Michigan. We invite you to reach out to your local representative to let them know that you support the Michigan Learning Channel and the work it does making a positive impact on Michigan learners.

Many of you already have summer learning options set for the summer, but we hope that you will also share the Michigan Learning Channel “Summer of Fun” resources available to families and schools, either as a supplement or a program choice to support learning engagement over the summer months. Check out the Summer of Learning landing page and this flier to learn about this summer’s topics.

It was such a pleasure to have an opportunity to engage with this group of wonderful people that are supporting preschool children, families, and educators. Production for Read, Write, ROAR! Upper Elementary (Grades 4-5) is wrapping up! The new series offers several segments within one episode and aligns to Literacy Essentials practices.
