Dear Nimitz/STEM Community,

Happy new school year! We are off to a fantastic start, and we couldn’t be more excited about the amazing students you’ve sent us—they’re truly awesome!

A quick heads-up: we will be finishing up balancing schedules this Friday. On Monday morning, please remind your student to check Pearl Harbor for their 1st-period class. That’s where they’ll need to report to get their official schedule. Don’t worry—most schedules will stay the same, but this will make sure everything’s squared away for a smooth week ahead.

Also, we know it’s been incredibly hot outside! NEISD is closely monitoring the temperatures and keeping us in the loop. Student safety is our top priority, so we’ll keep everyone indoors whenever the heat becomes too much. Hydration is key, and we’re making sure our students stay cool and safe.

Thank you for your continued support and for sending us such wonderful students. We’re off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things this school year will bring!
