Spartan Nation Update
Girls Basketball: CONGRATULATIONS to TEAGAN MALLEGNI for scoring her 2,000 point over the winter break. To my knowledge this is the most points ANY basketball player has scored in McFarland history. The girls basketball team took 1st place at the DeForest tournament beating Sun Prairie West and Hartford.
Boys Basketball: Had a non conference loss to Deforest over winter break.
Boys Hockey: Had a tournament over winter break. They beat Reedsburg but lost to Aquinas Avalanche and Kenosha Thunder
Girls Hockey: Had nice wins over the break against Medford and Northland Pines.
Boys Swimming: Took 2nd place at the Verona Invitational. They had multiple meet and pool records.
Wrestling: Had a week off. They will start to compete again after the break.
Dance: Had a week off and they are getting ready for some halftime shows as well as some more winter competitions.
