Tiger Tales for Parents
February 25, 2024
A Note from the Principal's Desk
Parents/Guardians,
Friday is Read Across America Day! We will celebrate reading on Friday, March 1 by dressing up as our favorite book characters!
Next week there are several school events. First, there is Walk to School Day followed by coffee w/Bradshaw and we will host a 5th grade transition night Thursday, March 7th. Parents and students are encouraged to attend to learn about 5th grade activities and transitioning to middle school. There will be a parent and student panel. Spanish translation is provided.
Want to know how your child is doing academically? Parent/Teacher conferences are March 6 & 13. Teachers will provide a sign up link in Dojo. Remember--parents can request a conference at anytime. Please ask about your child's reading level, progress in all all areas, and how you can help at home.
Lastly, there is a Independent Learner day on Friday, March 8. Students will complete learning activities at home. Your child's teacher will communicate these activities through Dojo.
Each week's newsletters will include a weekly update from our dynamic HHES PTA! Scroll down to read the message.
If you would like to volunteer to read for Black History Month, click here to sign-up!
