President's Comments
February Employees of the Month (0:52)
- Certified Staff: Christina Terry, Ag Teacher at Hart Career Center
Her nominating colleague shared, "She is doing the work of two teachers this year and has also helped me a tremendous amount!"
- Support Staff: Ethan Wiley, PLTW Teacher at Eugene Field Elementary
His nominating colleague shared, "Ethan has jumped into teaching STEM/PLTW. He is making great connections with students and creating an exciting learning environment. He's building a great foundation for students to get them excited to learn about STEM and science topics."
Other Comments
Board member Matt Pilger offered congratulations to the district for the recent MFA Oil grant which will be used to purchase a communication board to support students with disabilities.

Reports & Presentations
Superintendents' Reports (9:24)
Dr. Lentz (09:24) discussed community engagement, bond progress, district finances, PRI/C2C review, snow day update, and conference athletics. He also offered an overview of next year's budget preparations (30:25), including a possible $700 increase to teacher base pay.
Ms. Lower (25:13) discussed the ESEA budget approval, the MMS culture walk, Panorama, district testing, elementary teaching and learning, including the recent Title reading night.

Building-level Reports
Communications Report (33:22), including the Climate & Culture Survey Results from the winter 2024 district survey. Five groups were surveyed: District parents, all certificated staff, all support staff, 6-12 students, 4-5 students. Individual reports are available on the school website under Our Departments and Communications.
New Business (37:03)
MOU with Arthur Center Community Health
Approved a motion for an agreement to provide behavioral health consultation and access to mental health support for families and students of the district.
MOU with Partners for Rural Impact (PRI)
Approved a motion for a retro-active memorandum. The PartnerCorps partnership has been in place since the beginning of the 2024- 2025 school year, but a formal agreement is needed for record.
Personnel
Approval of Personnel, including extra duties contracts:
- Three new employees hired
- Administrators for rehire
- One transfer
- Several extra duties
The board meeting adjourned at 6:09 PM. The next regular session meeting will be held on March 18 at 5:30 PM in Central Office.
