Elementary School Issued Chromebooks

Elementary students must use a school issued device. They may use an alternate device if arranged with the teacher and as a temporary solution. Students using non school issued devices are not able to access items only available on the school device, making learning difficult and can create a security risk. As of Wednesday September 13, 2023 elementary teachers will not admit a student into class without a school device, unless arranged ahead of time with the teacher.

Computer Club

Does your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade student like playing video games?

What if they could design and create their own video game? During Computer Club,

students will be designing and creating their very own video game using a program called

Bloxels EDU.

It will take place on Wednesdays before school at Vista View from 8 am - 9 am for 6 weeks

starting on October 18th. At 9:00 a.m., the students will then go to their regular

classroom to start the school day.

Transportation is not provided.

Cost: Free!

If you have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade student who is interested in participating in Computer Club, please fill out this interest form.

School IDs

If you took school pictures at Open House, your school IDs are ready to be picked up. You will need your school ID to get into ISD 191 school functions like games (free entry except football, you must purchase a ticket) and buying prom tickets. You can pick them up at Vista View Elementary between 8am-3pm.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes are October 13, 2023 at Vista View Elementary from 9:45am-11:00am. Please sign up HERE for a time slot.

Reminder

Remember, do not eat or drink while on your Chromebook. You will be responsible for the repair cost if it breaks while eating or drinking.
