What is Trunk or Treat?
- Trunk or Treat is an event at Cowles Montessori School that is intended to bring staff, students, families, and the community together and to provide a safe way for students to Trick or Treat
- Staff members, parents, and community members will set up decorated car trunks and will pass out treats in the Cowles parking lot from 6-8pm
How can my child(ren) participate?
- Your child(ren) can wear costumes and go from trunk to trunk to trick or treat. Don't forget to bring something to carry all the treats!
- If you and your child(ren) wish to decorate your car trunk and hand out treats, park in the Cowles parking lot by 5:30 and be ready for Trunk or Treaters by 6:00pm
Can other children that are with me participate?
- Yes, your children and their friends are welcome
- All children must remain with an adult at all times
What else should I know about this event?
- During Trunk or Treat, the Garden Committee will be selling existing plants in the Cowles Garden for you and your family to take home to your garden. All proceeds will go to the creation of the new garden following construction of the new addition. More info on this will be sent out separately
- During Trunk or Treat, there will be food and drinks for sale in the gym for everyone. All proceeds will support the 6th Grade YCamp trip and other field trips
- Discount tickets to Cowles-After-Dark will be available for purchase. This is an adult-only fundraiser for Cowles Montessori that will occur on April 21st
- The November Student Principal for the Day spot will be available for you to bid on!
Will the event take place if it is raining?
- In the event there is rain we will move the event inside the Cowles Montessori School building
- The Garden Committee will still sell plants
- Pizza and drinks will still be on sale in the gym
- Discount tickets to Cowles-After-Dark will be available for purchase
- The November Student Principal for the Day spot will still be available for you to bid on
