May Happenings
May, 2024
Dear families,
It's hard to believe that in a few weeks, we will transition into the summer season. We have great summer programs to offer before our regular schedule resumes in the fall, and we invite you to check them out.
Summer time is the best time to catch up with school gaps and to boost your child's confidence for the beginning of the new school year. We will continue offering tutoring sessions in math and literacy for children grades K-6. We invite you to visit our center and see how different and nurturing we are.
If you have specific tutoring or enrichment needs during the upcoming months, please reach out to us at info@collaborativeeducationcenter.com. We are happy to help!
Thank you for your continued support,
Natalie and Tatiana

Help us Grow by Becoming one of our Center Ambassadors
During the month of May, we are inviting the families that attend our center to help us grow by:
Visiting local libraries, and adding a flyer to a bulletin board if available, and leaving some additional flyers for visitors.
Distributing flyers among other parents at co-ops, homeschool centers, and playdates.
- Take a picture of our material displayed, and the family that visits and distributes the most will automatically win a summer kit for your children to enjoy during summer!
Sick Policy - Friendly Reminder
Dear parents, one of our priorities is to keep your children safe and healthy. We sanitize every classroom before and after each session and remind the students to wash their hands when needed. We kindly ask you to keep your children home if they are sick.
Please follow the guidelines below to know when your children should be kept at home:
Fever of 100 degrees or more: The child should stay home for 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal (without needing medication to keep the temperature down).
When a child has vomited or had diarrhea, the child should stay home until 24 hours after the last episode.
When your child is experiencing excessive secretions, continual coughing, or excessive tiredness, it may also be good to keep them at home.
- After your child recovers, they are welcome to attend one make-up session.
Snack Update
Please let us know if you have any updates regarding allergies or dietary restrictions.
