We will resume our normal Saturday Academy hours this weekend. Please make note that this is the end of the quarter, so if your child/children have things missing this is a great opportunity to get help.

They aim to immerse students in a TECHNOLOGY project that creatively showcases the integration of SCIENCE, MATH, and the ARTS in an interactive and enjoyable manner. Join Project “STEAM” Ahead for a fun-filled learning experience that brings these essential subjects together!

Hello CMIT South High School Family!

We are excited to announce that our student leadership organizations, including the National Honor Society and High School SGA groups, are coming together to host a Coat Drive.

This winter, we aim to ensure that youth in need have access to warm coats and essential items. We invite you to donate gently used or new coats suitable for infants through high school age. Your contribution can make a significant difference in a child's life and well-being during this season!

Are you looking to boost your Spanish skills this year? If so, don't miss the opportunity to attend Ms. Tejeda's Spanish tutoring sessions! She offers personalized assistance for both middle and high school students every Thursday after school from 3:00 to 4:15 PM in room 162. Good afternoon CMIT Family,

Attached you will find the new sibling preference form for the 2025-2026 year lottery. This form must be submitted along with the online lottery application. The lottery application will be opened from November 1, 2024 -February 7, 2025.

Please note:
Sibling preference is not guaranteed and is based on seat availability for that particular grade level.

Please encourage your scholar to bring in their water to school or water bottle for refill. The school nor the nurse's office do not provide bottle water or cups to student.

If you know your child is experiencing any of the flu- like symptoms please monitor him/her before sending to school. COVID is still around

🏀Week Recap:
Due to extreme weather conditions, this week was quieter than usual regarding games. However, we did have one matchup against Central HS:

• JV Boys Basketball: Our JV Boys team delivered a spectacular performance, securing a dominant victory, 60-18. Huge shoutout to them for their hard work!
• Varsity Boys Basketball: Despite being up by as many as 11 points, our Varsity Boys team fell short in a tough loss. They’re eager to bounce back next week when they take on Friendly on Monday.
• Varsity Girls Basketball: Our Girls team continued their winning streak, dominating Central HS with an impressive score of 48-7. They’ll look to extend their streak next week against Friendly.

Baseball workouts have been postponed for a couple of weeks. Mr. Curtis will now hold workouts during the first week of February. If you’re interested in participating, please see Mr. Curtis for more details.
