Attendance Matters
Please remember that if your child is unable to attend school due to illness or other unavoidable
circumstances, it is required that you communicate with our school office by creating an absence request in Skyward or emailing Pmarez@harmonytx.org. For an absence to be considered excused, it must align with the criteria outlined in the HPS handbook regarding excusable reasons for absence. Your timely communication allows us to maintain accurate attendance records and ensure that your child receives any necessary support or accommodations.
Every day counts, and your support reinforcing this message is greatly appreciated. Thank you
for your continued partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can help ensure that your
a child reaches their full potential.
Safety Corner
To ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff, we kindly ask that you avoid sending aerosol sprays—such as body sprays, perfumes, and similar products—to school. These sprays can trigger allergic reactions and asthma attacks, putting some of our school community members at risk.
Let’s work together to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Safety Drill Reminders
Dear Parents,
At Harmony Science Academy Pflugerville, the safety and well-being of our students is always our top priority. As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment, we will be conducting safety drills each month. These drills include fire, lockdown, and evacuation procedures, all designed to help our students and staff be prepared for a variety of emergency situations.
We encourage you to talk to your children about the importance of these drills. By having open discussions at home, you can reinforce the message that these drills are a crucial part of staying safe, and help them feel more comfortable and confident during the exercises.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our school community safe!
