Cold Weather Is Coming!
In 5th and 6th grades, outdoor recess is scheduled twice a day. In 7th and 8th grades, outdoor recess is scheduled once a day. During inclement weather with temperatures or wind chill of 10 degrees or below, students will have indoor recess.
Students are responsible for dressing for the weather. When there is snow on the ground, students must wear boots to be in the snow. It is essential that snow and ice remain on the ground, and that students stay off the snow for the safety of all.
Just to name a few of our clubs. So many to choose from
PBIS Monthly Update
PBIS UPDATES:
October was National Bullying Prevention Month, and in our Character Strong and PurposeFull People lessons, we focused on bullying prevention and being an upstander. The entire school UNITED on World Unity Day (October 16th) to create a bright orange chain with student pledges to contribute to a culture that promotes kindness, acceptance and inclusion to prevent bullying at Nature Hill.
November Focus:
As you might expect, with Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Character Strong traits for November are Gratitude (5th grade) and Respect (6th-8th grades). We are going to ask students to give “Shout Outs” to their peers when they see them being respectful. Every week during our Thursday PBIS lesson, we also provide students an opportunity to acknowledge someone in their life for whom they are grateful.
Our staff is committed to setting high expectations, teaching, modeling and reinforcing positive behaviors, and supporting students in being their best selves at Nature Hill every day!

Your support and supervision ensures a positive atmosphere and that everyone has a great time.
Lost and Found
Any item found out of place at NHI can be located in our lost and found. This collection sits in our cafeteria, where students can look through it any time they'd like. We donate items left behind three or four times a year. Parents will be warned two weeks before a planned donation date with a notice here in the Wolf Pack Press.
