Thank you for helping us ensure our students are warm, safe, and following the rules. We appreciate your support! 💙
Dress Code Reminders📢
📢 Let's Stay on Track with Our Campus Expectations!
To keep our learning environment focused and respectful, we want to remind everyone of a few important guidelines for students:
🔒 Phones & Smart Watches:
These should stay off and tucked away in backpacks while inside the building. Let’s keep our focus on learning!
🎫 Student IDs:
Must be worn at all times! They help us recognize our awesome students and keep everyone safe.
👕 Hoodies:
We know they’re comfy, but no hoodies in the building. Please keep them in your backpack.
👔 Uniform Shirts & Slacks:
✔️ Shirts should be tucked in.
✔️ Wear school-appropriate slacks with a belt.
❌ No jeans with holes or cargo pants.
❌ No boots, uggs, crocs
Let's all work together to keep HSA Pflugerville looking sharp and ready to learn! 💙
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a great place to grow and achieve! 📚
🆔 Student IDs are required!
To ensure safety and smooth daily operations, all students must have their IDs visible at all times.
📅 Daily Reminder:
Students without IDs will be sent to the front office between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM to contact parents and will receive RP points. 🚪
🔴 Important Notes:
- Never got your ID? Pick it up at the front office!
- Lost your ID? A replacement costs $5 on RevTrak, or pay at the front office with a credit card or money order. 💳
- 3 visits to the office without an ID = ISS.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our campus safe and organized! ❤️💙
Cold Weather Attendance Reminder Letter
Dear HPS Parents and Guardians,
This letter is to remind you of our current procedures regarding absences due to medical reasons.
If your student is feeling sick while at school, it is mandatory for them to visit the Health Aide before they can be sent home to ensure that any necessary care is provided promptly. If it is necessary to send the student home due to illness, the health aide will notify the parent/guardian. Any attempts to sign-out due to illness without the attention of the health aide will result in an unexcused absence.
Absences exceeding three or more days due to illness, require a note from a healthcare provider in order for the absences to be excused.
As a reminder, students are expected to be present for a minimum of 90% of each class to receive credit and actively participate in their education.
Your cooperation and understanding in this matter are highly appreciated. These measures will contribute to a healthier and more productive learning environment for our students.
Sincerely,
Sabri Unal
Campus Principal

🎉 Exciting News Alert! 🎉
We’re thrilled to share some fantastic updates about our campus’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) data for the 2023-2024 school year!
A total of 17 new TIA designations have been submitted to TEA for final approval:
✨ 8 teachers have improved their current designations.
✨ 9 teachers are proposed to receive their first-ever designations.
Once TEA gives the final nod, our campus will proudly have:
🌟 15 Master Designated Teachers
🌟 15 Exemplary Designated Teachers

👏👏👏 This is a remarkable achievement and a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing educators. Congratulations to all our designated teachers for their outstanding contributions to our scholars! 🥳
Let’s celebrate this incredible milestone together! 🎊
🚶♂️➡️🔄 Learning in Motion!
Mr. Roosa’s OnRamps Precalculus class took Trigonometry to the next level by exploring linear vs. angular speed through a hands-on activity!
Here’s what they discovered:
➡️ Walking in a straight line? Everyone has the same speed to cover the same distance.
🔄 Spinning in a circle? Each student travels a different distance (linear speed) but completes the circle in the same amount of time (angular speed)!
What a fantastic way to connect math to real-world motion! 🚀 Great job, scholars! 👏

Ms. Clark's class had an exciting competition to see who could build the tallest tower using just spaghetti and marshmallows! 🏗️✨
With creativity and teamwork at the forefront, students put their engineering skills to the test as they carefully designed and built their structures. Some towers soared to impressive heights, while others got creative with unique designs! 🌟

Attendance Matters
Please remember that if your child is unable to attend school due to illness or other unavoidable
circumstances, it is required that you communicate with our school office by creating an absence request in Skyward or emailing Pmarez@harmonytx.org. For an absence to be considered excused, it must align with the criteria outlined in the HPS handbook regarding excusable reasons for absence. Your timely communication allows us to maintain accurate attendance records and ensure that your child receives any necessary support or accommodations.
Every day counts, and your support reinforcing this message is greatly appreciated. Thank you
for your continued partnership in your child’s education. Together, we can help ensure that your
a child reaches their full potential.
Safety Corner
To ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff, we kindly ask that you avoid sending aerosol sprays—such as body sprays, perfumes, and similar products—to school. These sprays can trigger allergic reactions and asthma attacks, putting some of our school community members at risk.
Let’s work together to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Safety Drill Reminders
Dear Parents,

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment, we will be conducting safety drills each month. These drills include fire, lockdown, and evacuation procedures, all designed to help our students and staff be prepared for a variety of emergency situations.
We encourage you to talk to your children about the importance of these drills. By having open discussions at home, you can reinforce the message that these drills are a crucial part of staying safe, and help them feel more comfortable and confident during the exercises.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our school community safe!
