Upcoming Walk/Bike to School
Liberty is excited to host our first Walk/Bike to School event of the year on Friday, September 6th. Students in 4th and 5th grades, who are not in the bus riding zone are welcome to come to school on their own; all other students must be accompanied by an adult. Make sure to send in a yellow change-slip, or call the office if picking up at the end of the day is out of the ordinary. We are in need of a couple of adult volunteers to be stationed at a busy intersection, and to help hand out stickers. All participants will receive a sticker once they arrive at school. Volunteers should be in position from 7:35 to 8:05 a.m. If you're available to give 30 minutes of your time, please sign up here. Don’t forget bike locks. We look forward to seeing those bikes and walking shoes!
Become a Member of the Liberty PTA
The Liberty PTA invites you to become a member as we help support the students, staff and families of our school community. Follow this link to join the Liberty PTA. All members are welcome to come to any of the group’s meetings held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Liberty library.
We also encourage families to volunteer whether a member of PTA or not. This is always a great way to meet other Liberty families, along with teachers and staff.
