Clever Family,

As we near the end of our first semester, excitement is in the air, and the holiday season is in full swing. Winter sports are underway, holiday activities are bringing joy to our campuses, and a festive spirit can be felt throughout the district.

Last week marked an exciting milestone for our schools as we broke ground on our building project! Construction will be happening on both campuses, with completion expected in approximately twelve months. We are incredibly grateful to our supportive community for making this vision a reality.

As a reminder, school will be in session Monday through Friday next week, followed by a two-week Christmas break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7.

With inclement weather always being a possibility at this time of year, please take a moment to review our AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) procedures linked in the newsletter below. It's also vital to ensure the school has your most current contact information. School closure notices will be sent through email, phone calls, Facebook, our school website, and local news outlets. Whenever possible, we’ll announce cancellations the night before. If we must cancel in the morning, we will try to send notifications by 5:30 a.m.

As we wrap up this semester, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and support you give us daily. You entrust us with your children, and we are dedicated to providing a school environment that prioritizes learning, safety, and acceptance.

As we move ahead with our building project, our goal is to keep everyone up to date on the progress. Click the button below to see the dedicated space on our school website that we will be updating as things move along. So far we have the proposed timeline, the floorplans, and some preliminary renderings, but we plan to update that often as we move ahead.

Last Friday we officially broke ground on our new building project! This milestone is a testament to the incredible support from our community — thank you for making this dream a reality.

Representatives from Snyder Construction, Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective, and Raymond James Financial were on hand as Superintendent Dr. Breeden, district administrators, and our Board of Education members broke ground to officially kick off this project. A special highlight was some of our amazing students joining us. They’ll be among the first to experience the new addition once it’s completed!

This project represents growth, innovation, and a bright future for all Bluejays. It’s truly a great day to be a Bluejay!

Each month, Clever School District joins Greater Ozarks Cooperating School Districts in celebrating educators. We celebrate four outstanding educators, and this December we're thrilled to recognize our newest Teacher Proud recipients! Huge congratulations to Nathaniel Peaslee, Laythen Utke, Maggie Chism, and Ravin Meier. We are so blessed to have each of them in our district!
