Dear ISAAC Families,
As we enter October, I’d like to remind you that the marking period ends on October 25th. Please encourage your students to take advantage of their study halls and Dragon Time to get help with assignments or to catch up on any missing work.
We are also excited for Spirit Week, which begins the week of October 14th! Please note that October 10th, 11th, and 14th will be early dismissal days. Additionally, Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held virtually on October 10th from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM.

New London, CT -ISAAC Middle School is buzzing with excitement as it prepares for its 3rd annual Lip Dub on October 14th. This unique and spirited event has become a cherished tradition, where students and staff come together to showcase the vibrant energy and unity of the ISAAC community.
The Lip Dub is more than just a fun activity – it’s a creative way to build school spirit and camaraderie. Students will proudly wear their ISAAC gear as they move through the halls, lip-syncing to a popular song, and participating in a choreographed music video that highlights the heart of the school. This year’s Lip Dub falls on an early dismissal day, with students heading home at 12:15 PM, but the excitement and enthusiasm for the event will undoubtedly carry through the whole day.
“We’re thrilled to continue this tradition,” said one ISAAC staff member. “The Lip Dub is a perfect way to show off our school spirit and give every student a chance to shine. It brings us all together in a fun and creative way.”
In anticipation of the event, the school’s Spirit Store will be fully stocked with brand-new ISAAC gear, starting next week. Students are encouraged to sport their school colors and gear as they prepare to take part in the video, which has become a hallmark of ISAAC’s creative spirit.
The Lip Dub is a celebration of community, teamwork, and the incredible energy that defines ISAAC. With students and staff eagerly awaiting the big day, the school is ready to make this year’s event the most exciting one yet!
