We would LOVE to introduce you to our newest addition to the administrative team Mrs. Elizabeth Clark. Mrs. Clark is a graduate of CCPS, completing high school at Thomas Dale High School where she has served as the assistant principal since 2020. Mrs. Clark also served at Midlothian High School as an AP History teacher, Dean of Students at Thomas Dale and also as a teacher, coach and club sponsor at Thomas Dale High School as well. We are excited to have her join the team where she will serve as the 6th Grade Administrator. We'll share more folks via social media all summer so stay tuned!

Hello Mustang Family! We hope you all are having a wonderful summer! Here’s a few ways you can help the PTO and school during the break.

Clothing Bin- Are you cleaning out your closet or your child's closet? Donate ALL of your clothes, shoes and more into the clothing bin located in the visitor parking lot (across from the tennis courts) anytime. Items are donated and the proceeds are given to the PTO which then goes back into our school community. Please bag items and do not donate any appliances etc. as they will not fit into the bin. Now.... Let's FILL IT UP!!!

Our fall sports season will be here soon and each student must have a sports physical and concussion form completed in order to participate. Please click HERE for the documents needed in order to try-out for our fall sports teams.

Fall sports include: Cross Country (Boys and Girls), Boys Soccer and Girls Basketball

Each year we look to donate HUNDREDS of used jeans in any condition to the Goodwill Denim Drive. This year is no exception, please donate your jeans to the cause as funds raised benefit our PTO and school community. The denim bin is located in the lobby outside of the main office. Summer office hours are Monday-Thursday from 7-5pm

In July, the Chesterfield Health Department will offer vaccination clinics at school sites for rising seventh graders and 12th graders. The clinics will run 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 1 and July 18 at Bird High School and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 11 at Matoaca High School. The Chesterfield Health Department will offer the required school vaccines for rising seventh and 12th grade students with no out-of-pocket costs, regardless of what insurance pays. Details about vaccines are available here.

Before Aug. 20:

• Rising seventh graders need vaccines for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap), meningococcal (ACWY) and human papillomavirus (HPV).

• Rising 12th graders need a second dose of the meningococcal (ACWY) vaccine.

The clinics are open to any student who is accompanied by a parent/guardian. For students attending summer school at Bird High or Matoaca High, parents/guardians can send in a signed consent form (provided in English and provided in Spanish) rather than accompanying their student. Virginia law requires children in public schools to be immunized against certain diseases unless the parent/guardian provides a religious or medical exemption or opts out of the HPV vaccine pursuant to Virginia Code §32.1-46 and Virginia Administrative Code 12VAC5-110-80.

Members of our Chromebook Helpdesk team will be here at Midlothian Middle School Monday-Thursday from 9:30-11:30am in the lobby. If your child(ren) are experiencing any difficulties with their device bring it on into MDMS until July 18, 2023.
