Monroe County Administrator Roman Gastesi, the county's highest ranking and highest paid employee, was just indicted by the Grand Jury and then arrested for participating in a coverup of Fentanyl theft from the county's medical evacuation helicopter program.
Gastesi reports directly to Monroe County Mayor Holly Merrill Raschein.
Though the theft took place more than two years ago and investigations into it have continued, Mayor Holly Raschein claims to have been blindsided by the arrest.
