Message from the Superintendent
Welcome to the McFarland School Community Newsletter!
This will be the first of my regular updates—typically shared monthly—designed to keep you informed about important events, community activities, key projects, and the incredible achievements of our students and staff. I’ll also provide updates on how we’re addressing challenges and planning for the future.
You can find this newsletter on our website, social media, and in your inbox if you’re on our community newsletter email list. If you’d like to subscribe, please sign up [here] or email me directly (contact information below).
I encourage you to share your questions, ideas, or concerns at any time using [this form] or by reaching out to me personally. Your voice matters, and we are committed to open, transparent, and frequent communication with our community.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our schools—we couldn’t do this without you!

District Highlights
Exciting news from McFarland! Our Staff Peer Mentor Program was spotlighted at the State Education Conference in Milwaukee!
Melissa Pfohl, our amazing Director of Teaching and Learning (pictured on the left), teamed up with other education leaders to present on RETAINING EDUCATORS THROUGH PEER MENTORING. She highlighted how this program benefits both new staff and our incredible mentors, who go above and beyond their full-time teaching roles.
This program is one of the key reasons behind our impressive 94%+
STAFF RETENTION RATE over the past two years!
We’re so proud of the positive impact our team is making.
CEPS classrooms were visited by a mystery reader! Mystery readers included #McFarlandStrong school board members, the school resource officer, district and building administrators, teachers, and other school staff. Who do you recognize?
