We are looking for parents of Sunnyvale ISD students to join us on the 2024-2025 Sunnyvale ISD School Health Advisory Council!

SHAC assists the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the health education program of SISD. The council will address the continued implementation of a coordinated health program including health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, counseling, healthy school environment, staff health promotion and family/community involvement. The SHAC meets four times a year in the early afternoon.

SHS End-of-Course exam scores are now available in Parent Portal. Scores for STAAR 3-8 were released June 14. Parents can access these scores through Parent Portal, the same place you find students' grades during the school year.

Angela Henderson Smith is a former SISD English Language Arts teacher and now works full time as an author, speaker, and writing coach.

Angela will guide the students through each step of the writing process, from prompt to final draft, for the most common college application essays. Juniors and seniors will be able to use this process to help them when applying for scholarships as well.
