Letter From The CEO:
Welcome to March!
Even if it doesn’t always feel spring-like, we know that Spring Break is this month. If you’re traveling, don’t forget to stock up on the books and movies you need before you leave, or download the correct apps so you can get your books and movies on the go. If you’re staying here with us, we’ll have events happening throughout Spring Break so you have something to do while you’re on your stay-cation. Watch our website and social media for details.
Since we now know we’ll be staying in this building for the foreseeable future, we’re working to reconfigure some things to ensure this building lives up to its full potential. We’ll try to do so with as little disturbance to all of you as possible, but if you can’t find something, just ask a staff member. We’re always happy to help.
Please know that we’ve followed the Health Department’s lead throughout the pandemic, which means that face masks are no longer required in the building. However, anyone may choose to wear a mask at any time, and we ask that you continue to be kind to those who make choices that are different than your own. And please, if you aren’t feeling well or someone with you isn’t feeling well, stay home. We love helping you, but we don’t want your germs.
Amie P.
Library CEO

Take up Space: Teen/Tween art and mindfulness program
Does your teen/tween love art? Do they wish they could come to a place where they can create freely and mindfully? This is the place. At no cost your teen gets a sketchbook and free range on the art supplies we have so they can create what speaks to their heart.
Take up Space meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the Month from 4:30PM to 5:50PM. March's dates are the 3rd and 17th!

Food for Thoughts Dinner / Breakfast
We will have another special guest joining us, the mayor! We are so excited and hope you will be too. There will be a dinner and a breakfast this month.
The dinner will be on March 10th at 6pm and the breakfast will be on March 18th at 8am.

Kids Invade Crafter's Corner
What are Buddha Boards? They are a mindful water art. You take a paint brush, dip it in water and draw on the buddha board. In a matter of seconds your design disappears. It is a beautiful practice of letting go, and also a no mess craft.
Crafter's Corner is held on the 3rd Friday of every month from 1-3pm, so if you're unable to make it this month keep a look out for next month's craft.
