Mustang Minute 4/11/25
Hello Morse Families!
As we wrap up another fantastic week, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on some of the wonderful things that happened at school this week.
Wednesday was a particularly busy and exciting day. We were honored to have Sheriff Bouchard visit and share poetry about community heroes with our students. His words were inspiring, and both he and his accompanying officer praised our students for being respectful and well-behaved. I was especially proud of our students, especially considering the challenge of fitting three classes into one room!
Later that evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new kindergarteners at Kindergarten Round Up. It was a joy to meet these future Mustangs and their families, and it was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces from returning families. It’s always exciting to watch our HERD grow!
Autism Acceptance Month continued this week. Today, we sold chocolate-dipped pretzels as our Friendship Treats fundraiser. It's been a wonderful way to raise awareness and encourage acceptance of all individuals, regardless of how they may look or learn differently from us.
Finally, today we celebrated our Mustangs of the Month with a special clap-out at 3:00 PM. These students have gone above and beyond, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed by their peers and teachers. It’s a fantastic way to end the week on a high note and celebrate their achievements!
Upcoming Important Events:
Wed 4/16 T & I Credit Union during all three lunches
Mon 4/21 Autism Acceptance Month Spirit Week
As always, if you have any questions regarding your child or the school, please let me know.
Have a great weekend!
