Hello Alternative Education!


We are fast approaching the end of the year so I wanted to remind you of some key dates/events that you should be aware of!


May 30th (Friday) -

  • LAST DAY TO SUBMIT WORK FOR VENTURE CLASSES!

We need students to submit work by midnight on 5/30 as this is the last Friday of the 24-25 school year. Teachers need time to grade and submit attendance for IS

  • LAST DAY TO SUBMIT WORK FOR DEL AMIGO GRADS!

We need students to submit work by 5/30 as this is the last Friday of the 24-25 school year. Staff needs to submit grades and update transcripts to determine eligibility for graduation.


May 30th (Friday) -

  • End of the Year Breakfast honoring Venture Grads from 8:45-9:30


June 2nd (Monday)-

  • Chromebook Drop off 1:00-3:00 pm for Seniors and students leaving the district in the main office lobby


June 2nd (Monday)-

  • Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal at 2:00 pm (DVHS Theater)


June 5th (Thursday)

  • End of the Year Breakfast honoring Del Amigo Grads 1st period

  • 8th Grade Promotion and Ice Cream Social from 1:30 - 2:30 pm


June 6th (Friday) -

  • Alternative Education Graduation at 2 pm (Tickets required)

LAST TWO WEEKS in Advisory - Presentations of Portfolios

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL- Finals, Projects & Presentations

JUNE 6, 2025 - GRADUATION CEREMONY STARTS! 2PM

Seniors looking to start DVC in the summer or fall should be finishing their applications and registering for classes.


Friday May 30th, 11:00-12:00 Ms. Kruse will be assisting with:


  • Steps to apply
  • Complete online orientation
  • Sign up for Counseling 95 - The planning class
  • Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)

After all these steps are complete, students can sign up for classes. The focus will be for DVC applications, if there are other applications, Ms. Kruse can help with that too.

Mark your calendars- this year’s Annual Update will open by feeder pattern the week of July 14th and must be completed by August 9th. Completing an Annual Update for each child is mandatory for every family. Watch for additional information in the coming weeks. Keep your eye on your spam folders as well.
