REMINDER: Impact Aid Reponse
All families should have received an email asking if you are military or civilian personnel living or working on federal property. We ask everyone to respond. It takes just a minute to mark your status and send it back electronically. These funds are provided to school districts to compensate for local tax dollars that are lost as the result of non-taxable federal payrolls or properties. Last year we collected $358,508 to support student learning.
REMINDER: Non-Arrival Messaging Changes November 4
On Monday, messages will be sent home approximately one hour after school starts if a student did not arrive at school. Early communication is to encourage families to clear attendance using Family Access and ensure students arrive safely.
NOTE: If you notify the school of the absence prior to the message, it may not be cleared for up to 24 hours. You can disregard the message.
Review the instructions on how to report your absence in Skyward Family Access on the school website. Look for the Attendance Icon!
We want to keep all parents and guardians informed about district and school information. However, it can be overwhelming to get phone calls, emails and texts. You can manage your messages to fit your preference but access stored messages to review at a later date. If you block the emails or calls, you will not receive any future messages or emergency notifications.
Instead download the School Messenger App in Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You will be able to set preferences on which types of messages you want to receive and how. Check our website for details.
