Virtual Teacher Conferences

Now Held in October

Dear Families,


We are pleased to announce that this year's virtual teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, October 24, and Friday, October 25, instead of November.


By moving the conferences earlier in the school year, families will have the opportunity to connect with teachers before report cards are released on Wednesday, November 20. This change allows for more timely discussions about student progress and provides earlier access to additional support and resources.


We encourage all parents and guardians to take this opportunity to engage with teachers and discuss your child's development. Conference scheduling for Grades K-8 will be managed through the Meet the Teacher platform. More information will be provided in October.

Please note the following important dates in October:

  • Late Start: Thursday, October 10

  • No School: Monday, October 14 (Indigenous Peoples Day)

  • Early Release: Thursday, October 24 (afternoon and evening teacher conferences)

  • No School: Friday, October 25 (teacher conferences)

Wonder Science Shows

The Learning Fund Foundation is proudly presenting two Science Shows, "The Magic of Science: Is it Magic or Science or Both?" and "The Weird & Wacky Show: Science Fun, Feats & Facts" performed by Educator, Author and Magician Dennis Reglin.

When: Saturday, Nov. 9
Show Times:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Magic of Science Show: Is it Magic or Science or Both.
  • 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Weird and Wacky Show: Science Fun, Feats & Facts.

Admission Price:

  • $7.00 per adult, $5.00 per child, per show.
  • $12.00 per adult, $8.00 per child, both shows.
  • $10.00 per child or adult at the door, per show.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Register: Event registration requested.

Where: Daniel Wright School, 2424 Riverwoods Rd, Lincolnshire.
