It takes a village!
As I have shared many times in my 20 years in education, it truly takes a village to prepare our students for their future! I believe this in my personal life as well with my own children and their school communities. I wanted to share a few things that we need your help with and ask for you to have similar conversations at home.
- To be kind to one another. We are noticing that some students are roasting one another and this really does hurt and goes against our core values.
- To avoid group chats that will cause harm to someone else.
- To ensure we are picking up after ourselves in the classroom and cafeteria.
- To try to make someone smile and be a friend to someone that may not believe that they have many friends.
- To say "please" and "thank you."
- The importance of showing our Core values at Ross and within the Ross community.
I am truly honored to serve as the principal of Ross. I deeply care for the well-being of all of our children and their families. And I deeply care about the amazing staff at Ross. Ross is a great place... it really is! So... thank you in advance for allowing us to be part of your village and talking with your child(ren) about what is mentioned above. Have an amazing Sunday!
