Parents, caregivers, and families are valuable partners in helping our students grow and thrive. In addition to holding conferences with parents/caregivers, we want to continue to have timely, two-way communication with families throughout this school year. Although this is not the actual picture of our Lost and Found, our school's collection of lost jackets, sweatshirts, hats, and more continues to grow! Please visit our school on Monday or Tuesday to look through our Lost and Found which will be moved temporarily to our main entrance area. Those who are attending Parent-Teacher Conferences are encouraged to check out this area when you arrive or as you exit the school.
Are you interested in receiving a free Chromebook for your child to use at home for academic purposes? If so, please click HERE to fill out the request form. It may take 2-3 weeks for MCPS to process your request, and we will give your child the Chromebook and charger once we receive it.
Our Virtual Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 3, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. We hope that all families log into this monthly meeting to provide all PTA members, families, and school administration with your input to enhance our school community and experiences for our students. Parents and caregivers are invited to join us from 8:50-10:00 a.m. in our All-Purpose Room for our Caregiver Coffee event (in Spanish and English). Meet other parents and caregivers (i.e., students should report to class) and enjoy some morning snacks and beverages! During this event, we will review and collect feedback on our school improvement plan goals and efforts with addressing and responding to racism and hate-bias incidents.
