Last Thursday Kid Account cards were sent home with your child. Those cards are to be used when you pick up your child(ren). At dismissal time, a staff member will walk up the line and scan cards. You can also bring in the Kid Account cards to the foyer and use it to check in and out your child during the school day. Please keep them handy if you plan on picking up your child(ren).

After reviewing pick up and drop off, I'd like to clarify the procedure. Please park (if it is before the gates open) in two rows. After traffic begins flowing, please take turns merging into one line. It is not necessary to stay in two lines once traffic begins moving at pick up and drop off time.

The district app has been updated and you can find the menus there. You can also access the Nike menu by clicking on THIS link.

Please turn in your family's Free & Reduced lunch form (it was in your child's Thursday folder last week) or complete the online form to be entered in a drawing to wine a free bike or a free tv. See flyer below.

Directions to fill out the application online: Log in to Infinite Campus, click on more on the left hand side, click on meal benefits, and you can click on the button to fill out the application.

Nike has an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The organization has traditionally sponsored activities such as Movie Night, Breakfast with Santa, Trivia Night, Spring Carnival, and fundraisers to support the school. This year we are planning to hold similar events.

Nike PTO has 2 fundraisers to kick off the 2024-25 school year!!!

Fall Mum's Fundraiser

We've partnered with a local farmer from Countryside Farm & Market in Cuba, Missouri who is providing us with gorgeous 9 inch mums that will display an 18-24 inch spread.

Simply select your favorite colored chrysanthemums and add them to your cart. Pay online via card, or bring your cash/check on pick up day. Orders will need to be placed by September 20, 2024 at noon. All plants will need to be picked up from Nike Elementary on September 25, 2024. Specific details on pick up time will be communicated.

Do you know someone 50+ who would be interested in helping a child learn to love reading and learning? Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring pairs volunteers ages 50+ with children in grades K-3 to work one-on-one each week as their tutors, mentors and friends. They can tutor one child or several, on a one-on-one basis each week throughout the school year.
