SBS Weekly Parent Update

This past week's student performances of "Beauty and the Beast" were simply exceptional. I want to give a shout out to all of our student performers, Mrs. Catalono and Ms. Walls. Each performer gave it their all and shined on stage, a testament to the dedicated work of Mrs. Catalano and Ms. Walls.

We have our Book Fair and Open House this coming week. Students will get a chance to browse the Book Fair tomorrow and purchase on Tuesday. Please join us for our Open House on Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8 pm. The Book Fair will also be open during the Open House. All are welcome!

**End of School Year Announcements**

Thursday, June 6th:

• End of school year Mass at 9 am, hosted by Grade 1
• 8th Grade Dinner Dance 6 - 9 pm
  

Friday, June 7th:

• Last day of school for Preschool, Pre-K and 8th Graders
  
• Preschool and Pre-K End of Year Celebration at 9 am in Parish Hall
• Kindergarten Graduation 11 am in St. Bridget Church
• 8th Grade Graduation Mass 7 pm in St. Bridget Church

Schedule for our last week of school;

Monday, June 10th:

• Full Day of school and a Themed Dress Down Day

Tuesday, June 11th:

• Early Release Day and a Themed Dress Down Day
  

Wednesday, June 12th:

• LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, will be an Early Release Day and Themed Dress Down Day
  

As we get closer to June there will be additional information about the Themed Dress Down Days and end of school year events.

• Hot Lunch - Pizza
• Band Practice 8:30 - 9:30 - Payment is due to Mr. Smith for last session of the year
• Stations of the Cross - Grades 3 - 8, 7th Grade presenting 1 - 2 pm. All are welcome to attend

April Vacation from Monday April 15th to Friday April 19th.

This coming Wednesday, during the Open House, Mrs. Johnson will have a table set up in the foyer so that parents can complete their CORI form for next year. Please remember you will need to show a picture ID.

Please be advised that, during the course of a school year, anyone who will be/or might be:

1. Doing an assisting position, and/or

2. Volunteering in a classroom, or

3. Chaperoning a field trip

MUST fill out a CORI form each and every year.

Our Move-A-Thon Scholarship "FUN"draiser will be on Wednesday April 24th. The funds raised go directly to PTO Sponsored scholarships. Please view the form below.

Last year's Golf Classic was a huge success. Please consider joining us this year on Friday, May 17th. See forms below.

As the school year comes closer to wrapping up, the PTO Chair - Holly Cirignano and the PTO Secretary - Meg McEvoy are also wrapping up their terms. The PTO is vitally important to our schools' success and we ask all school members to consider serving as a member of the PTO Leadership.
