Weekly Announcements
Parents and Guardians, we really need your support with communicating with your students the importance of getting to class on time. Student tardies are high and we need our students to be in class. Please make sure you are aware that the school day begins at 7:15am.
Student Parking:
If your student plans to park on campus, please make sure they have purchased their parking permits. Parking permits are required to park on campus and all students must be parked in their assigned parking lot. Currently, the partial day parking lot is sold out. All future parking passes will be assigned to the main student lot off stadium drive. If you have further questions or concerns, contact Ms. Roberts.
Dress Code:
Please make sure that your student has reviewed the dress code on the district website within the Student Code of Conduct and ensures their outfits meet the criteria. Students not meeting the criteria will be asked to change and possibly call home if necessary.
School Pictures:
School Pictures will be on Friday, October 4th. Students will take pictures through their English class. If your student takes an off-campus English class, they can take their pictures during their lunch.
FBLA:

ASVAB:
11th and 12th graders - ASVAB will be administered on Wednesday, September 4th at 7:30 am. Sign up on your CRC Canvas Course.
Community Service:
Community service opportunities are available. Sign up on your CRC Canvas Course. See Ms. Edwards for details.
Join MESA:
Florida MESA is looking for members. If you’re interested in Science and Engineering and if you want to learn how to design and code please see Ms. Miranda at building 16 room 504
Youth Leadership:
The Youth Leadership Pasco application is open to sophomores and juniors. Check your CRC Canvas Course for the application or see Ms. Edwards for more information.
NHS:
The National Honor Society will have its first meeting on Wednesday, August 28th after school in Mr. Pless' room.
Parent Volunteers:
If you are interested in being a volunteer for PHS, please make sure you have visited the Pasco County Schools website and complete the volunteer application.
PTSA:
Pasco High School has a very active PTSA. We would like to invite all parents that would like to be a part of this phenomenal group to the first meeting on August 27th @ 6:00pm in the front office.

Wireless Communication Device Policy
Please make sure you are aware of the Wireless Communication Device (WCD) Policy for Pasco High School. There is a change from last year. Students will only be able to use their WCD's during lunch. Also, it is important to note that the policy includes headphones/earbuds. It is imperative that you understand and plan to follow this policy starting on day one of the school year. If you have any questions, please reach out to administration. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

PHS TUTORING
MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY - BEGINS 8/26
Please mark your calendar for the 2024 Florida College Tour. It will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, from 5:30-7:30 pm in the PHS Activity Center. Colleges from the state of Florida and southeast will visit. It's a great time to learn about admission requirements and what the schools have to offer. See Ms. Edwards if you have questions.
Senior Information
Attention Seniors! Your Class of 2025 Senior T-shirts and Hoodies are now on Sale! Log in to your student fees account to purchase your t-shirt for $15 and/or your Hoodie for $30. Orders MUST be placed by Fri August 30th. See Ms. Bromley in 4-108 if you have questions.
Attention Seniors! There will be an OPEN CLASS meeting on Wed Aug 21 in Ms. Bromley's classroom, 4-108, after school until 2:30 pm. Please attend to express your opinions about all of our Senior year events.
