EARLY RELEASE 11/27:
11/27 is an Early Release with NO ASAP or after school activities. Students are dismissed at 12:15.
REMINDER: COLD WEATHER GEAR:
As the weather finally makes a turn please help your children remember to bring cold weather gear to school. Some of our first recesses are early in the morning when it is still chilly enough to wear jackets. It's a good idea to dress in layers as some of the afternoon recesses can be much warmer than bus stop temperatures in the morning. Better to have the jacket and not need it then be too cold outside!
SEASON OF GIVING:
Every year, the Lilja PTO organizes a donation campaign during the holidays. This is a beloved tradition in the Lilja community because it gives us a chance to practice community service, alongside with our children, and to help local families in need of assistance. We hope this campaign uplifts hope and empathy in our community, and serves as an inspiration to our children.
This year, we are calling this donation campaign “Season of Gratitude: Lilja Gives Back” and will collect toys, clothes, outerwear, books, gift cards, and accessories. Donated items will be delivered to the Natick Service Council, for distribution to economically disadvantaged families in the neighborhood, and will also be delivered by the school confidentially to Lilja families who are in need of help this holiday season.
Please click on the link below to assign yourself to an item to donate. There are two tabs, a wish list for the Natick Service Council and also, one for Lilja families. Then, drop off your donation to one of the boxes outside of the Lilja library (or bring your gift card donation to the front desk).

Donations to the NSC will be accepted through Friday, December 6th.
Donations to Lilja families will be accepted through Friday, December 13th.

WHOLE SCHOOL PAJAMA DAYS!
Our first whole school pajama day of this year will be on Friday, 12/20. Lilja has whole- school pajama days on the day before Winter break, Feburary break, and April break. If your student chooses to participate, please be sure to have appropriate outerwear and shoes for recess and P.E.!
