#2 Advanced Placement at SEHS
2024-2025
Pay For Your AP Exam(s) or Let Me Know
Step #1
Check Your Registration
Go to your MyAP account and check your course and exam registration. Review which AP courses are listed for you.
If you do not see a course that you will like to take an exam for this May you need to add them by adding the join code. Find the list of Join Codes Here. If you do not see a join code we are not offering it this year.
<-------#1 and #2-------->
I need two steps completed or I will NOT be able to order an exam(s) for you.
Step #2
Pay or Say for your exam(s) if you want to take them in May.
You pay for your exam by going to SchoolPay (Link Here and below) OR you need to Say you want to take the exam by completing this AP Exam Participation Intent Google form.
After 11/14 a Late Fee of $40 may be added to each exam you want me to order. This is a College Board thing not a Shantel thing.
Exam Fee(s)
The State of Oregon is subsidizing the exam fees so the breakdown is as followed:
-$85 Standard Fee
-$6 Reduced Fee (see * below)
*If your child received free or reduced priced benefits in the past or if you believe your family earns an income that may qualify you for free of reduced fees, please complete the Income Based Eligibility Survey Here.
If you do not qualify for Income Based reductions but need a scholarship for the exam(s), please email Shantel.
Late Ordering Fees & Cancellation Refunds
In addition if you cancel your exam the unused/canceled exam fee is $40 per exam. This means if you paid the Full Fee amount ($85) and decide to cancel prior to the exam you can receive a refund of $45.
If you paid the $6 exam fee you will not be eligible for a refund.
How to Pay Exam Fees
The AP SchoolPay site is open for debit/credit payments. If you need to pay by cash or check please take that to Katie in the Finance window
If you want to pay for your exam after November 14th or would like to request financial assistance please complete the Sayment: AP Exam Participation Intent Google Form.
Check your AP Exam Registration
Check out this website for general steps you were asked to take to get registered. If you discover you are not registered for the exam you would like to take please see the necessary steps below and may attention to deadlines.
The exam(s) was not ordered if you did not use the class join code or if it was not paid for by the payment deadline. You can still register by letting me no later than March 5th. I will give you the necessary steps to sign up for the exam(s) and a $40 per exam late fee will be added.
Calculus AB or BC?
At this point everyone studying Calculus, should use the Calculus AB Course Join Code so you can access the AP Classroom. Later this year (deadline is March 6th) students can elect to sign up for the BC exam if they would like. I will send out a message once we get closer. The Difference Between AB and BC Information

If you have been approved previously for College Board (SAT, PSAT) accommodations you will also be able to take AP Exams with College Board–approved accommodations such as extended time and breaks.
If you have not been approved for College Board accommodations but feel like you would like to apply for them, check out the Accommodations on College Board Website and then contact your counselor as soon as you can. The approval process takes several weeks to get a decision so starting early is a good idea.
