Principal's Message
I am delighted to welcome you all to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely summer break. My family hosted a high school student from Spain who came with us to Big Sur and New York, where he met my extended family. My daughter and I also finally got to see a show at Red Rocks in Colorado and I also watched my son play a lot of baseball and my stepdaughter in theater performances. It was an eventful summer!
Two years ago, our theme was all about re-connecting with one another after coming out of the isolation of Covid. Last year was all about inspiration- deepening those connections and inspiring one another. This year, the theme is “elevate.” How can we enhance the things we do on a daily basis to bring them up to the next level? This includes everything from our interactions with others to opportunities for students to show their learning to moments of enrichment and individualized support.
For the new families, welcome to MEA, and to those returning, welcome back! Thank you for choosing to “do school differently.” Please do not hesitate to reach out to the front office, myself, Mr. Rubin, or individual teachers or other staff if you have questions.
I look forward to another wonderful year of partnering with you in educating our children.
With gratitude,
Courtney Browne
