Spotted At ZESD 6
- As part of our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) program, groups of students at Elmwood competed in competitive games for prizes while developing positive behavioral skills. Student of the Month recipients were also recognized in front of their peers.
- The Noggin Builders STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Program is partnering with ZESD 6 to provide hands-on STEM experiences. All Kindergarten-Grade 2 students will participate in a 30-minute STEM activity each month to gain exposure to various science and engineering concepts. The activities aim to help students develop creative problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Cooking With Arbor began the year with a tasty hit. Students from each grade level at ZCMS were selected to work with our food service provider to create a delicious zucchini-based snack to share with classmates. Students learned about cooking techniques and food safety.
