Dear Virginia Lake Families,
Happy December! We hope your family had a terrific Thanksgiving holiday break! Virginia Lake is inviting our families to join our annual holiday gift program. By supporting this program, you'll bring joy and warmth to families in need within our school community. We have over 150 students participating in our holiday program this year. Your kindness will create lasting memories and brighten the holidays for our students. Each child has requested a pair of winter boots, a clothing item, and one toy.
If your family would like to adopt a student(s) at Virginia Lake, please identify the family number and send an email to both Ms. Maria Chiodo ( Formerly Ms. Majewska) chiodom@ccsd15.net and Mrs. Van Winkle, vanwinkp@ccsd15.net. If you do not have a family preference, please email us the number of students you would like to adopt this holiday season. We will respond to your email to confirm the student's wish list. Please bring wrapped gifts to Virginia Lake by Friday, December 13th labeled with the family number and the students gender and age. Gift pick up will take place on Wednesday, December 18th and Thursday, December 19th.
