Reutter School Weekly Update
Week of September 30, 2024
Principal's Message
Reutter School Families,
This week, our students took part in important mini-lessons focusing on digital citizenship and online safety during their enrichment classes. These lessons were a continuation of the presentation I delivered to all students last Thursday, where we discussed the importance of using technology responsibly and staying safe online.
On Friday morning, students will have the opportunity to attend a character development-themed presentation. A motivational speaker will share an inspiring story with our students, encouraging them to embrace positive values and overcome challenges. We are grateful to the Municipal Alliance for generously sponsoring this meaningful assembly.
In other exciting news, during our professional learning community (PLC) meetings this Wednesday, our teachers and support staff participated in a valuable professional learning session on Tourette Syndrome Awareness. This learning experience will continue with a school-wide assembly next Thursday, where the entire Reutter School community will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of this important topic.
Looking ahead to next Thursday evening, the Reutter School PTO will be hosting their Annual McDonald's Night fundraiser from 5 PM to 7 PM. I encourage all families to stop by, enjoy a meal, and support our PTO. You'll even have the chance to see myself and many of our teachers taking orders, serving food, and making your McFlurries!
Thank you for your ongoing support of our school community. We look forward to another great week of learning and growth!
Sincerely,
Mr. Theodore Peters
Principal
