Remember the days when trying to become a police officer was competitive and qualified individuals waited months, sometimes years, to land a coveted spot on a police force? Sadly, NBC News reports “Fewer people are applying to be police officers, and more officers are retiring or resigning at a tremendous rate…there's a shortage of police officers across the country.”
The Lacey Township Police Department is in the process of hiring police officers. Please see the flyer below, and feel free to share it with anyone you know who may be looking to enter this noble profession. Thank you to all of our dedicated Lacey Officers. We appreciate your support and protection!
