Principal's Message
We continue to focus on attendance and kindness this week. Mrs. Nuss present the King's of Kindness Challenge in classrooms. We have already started to see a positive change on campus. This week our attendance rate was 89.8%. That is a .4% increase from last week. Our goal is 93% attendance. Please help your children be at school on time daily. Students with excellent attendance, work ethic, and behavior for the month of November can earn a special recess. Students can earn Ram bucks for being safe, responsible and respectful on campus. Several students enjoyed visiting our RAM store this Friday. It is open every Friday during first recess and most Fridays after school. This Thursday is orange and black day. Students must follow school dress code on 10/31.

Parklane Elementary
Kings of Kindness
We want to highlight our positive behavior goal of RESPECT at Parklane by recognizing students who choose to show kindness! Mrs. Nuss presented information about the challenge in each classroom. Students started their logs this week.
Students will complete a log to note different ways they have been kind at home and school.
Each student who turns in their log will receive a popsicle on Friday November 15.
Every Friday, during the challenge, a few students will be selected to share one kind thing they have done from their log during the pledge on the playground and they will receive Kings memorabilia.
All kindness logs submitted will be entered into a drawing to win 4 Lower-Level tickets to a Sacramento Kings game at Golden One Arena.
Spelling Bee
We are excited to announce the winner of our Parklane Spelling Bee is Mimi N in Mr. Gonzalez's class. The Spelling Bee is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their spelling skills and compete in a friendly and encouraging environment. Participants will be tested on their ability to spell a variety of words; the event will include several rounds. The competition aims to foster a love of language and promote academic excellence. Mimi will go on to the district wide spelling bee (Stockton 11/7). We encourage you to click on the link below for rules and practice lists.
