School Drop Off and Pick-Up
As we start the new school year, it's important for everyone in our school community to be aware of and follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures to ensure the safety of all students. Here are some key guidelines and reminders:
Morning Drop-Off Zone:
- Arrival Time: Please drop off your child between 7:40 AM and 7:55 AM. Staff members will be present to monitor students.
- Drop-Off Zone: Use the designated drop-off zone only. Pull forward as far as possible to allow other cars to move in behind you.
- Stay in Your Car: For safety and efficiency, please remain in your vehicle while dropping off your child.
Afternoon Pick-Up:
- Pick-Up Time: Pick-up begins at 3:30 PM
- Be Patient: The pick-up and drop-off process can be busy. Patience and cooperation help keep everyone safe.
- Stay Alert: Always be aware of your surroundings. Watch for children who may be crossing the parking lot or walking along the sidewalk (high profile vehicles may have a harder time seeing smaller students, please take extra care).
- Follow Traffic Rules: Obey all traffic signs and instructions from staff members directing traffic.
The Importance of Paying Attention:
- Children's Safety: Young children can be unpredictable. Staying alert and cautious helps prevent accidents and ensures their safety.
- Role Modeling: Demonstrating safe and courteous behavior teaches children the importance of traffic safety.
- Community Responsibility: We all play a role in maintaining a safe environment. Your attention and cooperation contribute to a safer school for everyone.
