What an incredible week we’ve had here at CMHS! Our Foxes continue to shine with remarkable accomplishments. Foxes Football advanced to the first round of playoffs, Lady Foxes Volleyball just clinched their third gold ball of the season, FFA had great success at the District competition, and our Theatre Department is ready to debut *The Addams Family* for its first performance. These are just a few of the exciting events happening across our campus! We hope to see everyone on Saturday as we cheer on volleyball in their next big win. Have a wonderful weekend, and let’s finish strong as we head into the last week before Thanksgiving break!

Congratulations to our Lady Foxes Volleyball team for advancing to the REGIONAL FINAL round of playoffs! We're so proud of these teams for their hard work and dedication. They will compete at Melissa High School tomorrow at 3 pm against Celina.

Tickets will be online only - no cash at the gate.

Important reminder: The 6-week grade check is scheduled for November 22. Students who are passing all eight classes at this checkpoint will be able to regain eligibility for extracurricular activities beginning on December 6 at 4:00 pm. As a reminder, all students are eligible during the Thanksgiving break. Keep up the hard work as we approach this important date!

The District is unwavering in its commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment for all its students. We understand that the use of illegal drugs poses a serious health and safety risk to the user, those associated with the user, and potentially to the public. Therefore, as a proactive measure to keep our students and schools drug-free, the District requires the random drug-testing of any student in grades 7-12 who chooses to participate in school-sponsored extracurricular activities or request a permit to park a vehicle on school property. Random drug testing is conducted throughout the school year.

Semester exams will begin on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Exemption information, along with an exam schedule, will be shared in December.
