Howling Herald
May 31, 2024
Hello Wolves,
Several BIG celebrations took place this week.
➡️8th graders shared their Passion Projects on Wednesday evening. This is the culmination of a year-long research project that each student has selected, investigated and then presentd their findings in both a display and speech.
➡️Last night we honored students who earned a cumulative 3.5 GPA for the first 3 quarters of the school year at our Honor Roll Ceremony. Make our math teachers proud by analyzing some of these figures:
- 583 students enrolled at Selkirk
- 310 students made honor roll
- 102 6th graders made honor roll and 25 of those had 4.0
- 121 7th graders with 21 earning a 4.0
- 87 8th graders made honor roll with 13 earning a 4.0
- eight 8th grade students who had a 4.0 for all 3 years
